- Meeting of Council held on Monday 27 January 2020
RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 27 January 2020 be approved and signed as a correct record.
Note: Councillors Clews, Key, Lambie, O’Connor and Velan abstained from voting on the above resolution.
- TO RECEIVE SUCH COMMUNICATIONS AS THE PERSON PRESIDING MAY WISH TO LAY BEFORE THE COUNCIL (Paper B)
RESOLVED to note the Mayors Diary.
- TO RECEIVE THE DRAFT MINUTES OF COMMITTEE MEETINGS (Paper C)
RESOLVED to NOTE draft minutes.
- ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
Members considered arrangements and content for annual public meeting to be held between 1 March 2020 and 1 June 2020, Local Government Act 1972, Schedule 12.
The Clerk advised that the meeting could only be held in a licenced premises if no other facility was available.
RESOLVED to hold the Annual Public Meeting on Monday 20th April 2020 at 6:00pm at Richmond House.
To ask the Clerk to contact the following organisations to see if they will present at the meeting: –
- Gainsborough Neighbourhood Plan
- Mayflower 400
- PCC / Community Policing Team
- WLDC re new housing
- GTC projects including General Cemetery
- LCC Gainsborough Cycling and Walking Plan
Note: Councillors Clarke and Plastow abstained from voting on the above resolution.
- COMMITTEE VACANCIES
No Members present wished to fill the vacancies on Management and Finance Committee or Planning and Development Committee.
- POLL CARDS
RESOLVED to have poll cards for the upcoming Hill Ward election and monies for the election to come from General Reserves.
Note: Councillor Key voted against the above resolution.

- REPORT FROM THE LEADER OF THE COUNCIL
No report was received due to the Leader not being present at the meeting.

The Town Clerk updated Members on Richmond House Conservatory, War Memorial planning application, Gainsborough in Bloom, CIL and IT upgrade.
