RESOLVED that the minutes of the Planning and Development Committee meeting held on Tuesday 22 December 2020 be confirmed and signed as a correct record.

RESOLVED that Committee had no objections to the application, but supported the comments from the Environmental Protection Officer regarding the proposed configuration, and the comments from a member of the public regarding the lack of resident parking.

Proposal: Planning application to remove existing single storey garage and replace with two storey side extension

RESOLVED to note the decision.
6. STREET NAMING
Committee considered street naming request received.
i. Gleeson
Proposal – Run a competition with local schools for the naming of the streets for the development
Location – Middlefield Lane, Gainsborough
RESOLVED to agree for Gleeson to approach St Georges primary school and Warren Wood primary school to run a competition for the naming of the streets for their development. Members did suggest that thought be made to naming streets after people that worked at the Middlefield Lane school. Members requested that street name suggestions be presented to a future meeting prior to submission to WLDC.
7. TREE PRESERVATION ORDERS
Members NOTED that none had been received.
8. HOUSING ZONE
Members NOTED that no further update had been received.
Note: Councillor Craig arrived at the meeting at 7.30pm.
9. GAINSBOROUGH TOWN NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN (Paper E)
Committee NOTED that the Independent External Examiner, Mr Ashcroft, asked the Town Council and WLDC to undertake factcheck of an initial draft report. Members of the Working Group and Town Councillors compiled some observations which were sent to Mr Ashcroft by the Town Clerk. WLDC have also made their observations known to Mr Ashcroft.
Committee NOTED further that currently there has not been confirmation of when a referendum could take place. The earliest would be Thursday 6 May 2021 at the same time as the County Council election.
RESOLVED that Members would be supportive of the referendum taking place on Thursday 6 May 2021 alongside the LCC elections.
