RESOLVED to accept the apologies received and reasons given.
None declared.
RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND TO MANAGEMENT AND FINANCE COMMITTEE to sub-lease Roses Sports Ground to Gainsborough Trinity Foundation & Football Foundation and work in partnership.
RESOLVED to allow Claire Hill to remain in the meeting once Standing Order 14n is actioned due to it being prudent for her future role.
RESOLVED under Standing Order 14n to exclude public and press.
Councillor Key distributed Thanet District Council’s Due Diligence Protocol document.
The Deputy Clerk informed Members that any sub-lease would be solely to Gainsborough Trinity Foundation and not Gainsborough Trinity Foundation & Football Foundation.
Councillor Dobbie requested that Gainsborough RUFC be contacted to see if they would still like a sub-lease for Roses and tie ends up with them before potentially moving forward with the Trinity Foundation.
Councillor Key distributed Gainsborough Trinity Foundations Annual Report for 2016/17.
Councillor Dobbie proposed Recommending to Full Council that Gainsborough Town Council agree in principle to a 25 year sub-lease of Roses Sports Ground to Gainsborough Trinity Foundation subject to legal advice on terms, current sub-leases remain and Gainsborough RUFC potential sub-lease be looked into.
No seconder was forthcoming.
RESOLVD to refer to Full Council with no recommendation but to ask for the following from the Gainsborough Trinity Foundation: –
