- Minutes of the meeting of Levellings Site Improvement Working Group held Friday 19 June 2020
RESOLVED that the minutes of the Levellings Site Improvement Working Group meeting held on Friday 19 June 2020 be confirmed and signed as a correct record.
Note: Councillor Ward abstained from voting on the above resolution.
- UPDATED PROPOSAL FOR CONSULTATION (Papers B, C & D)
The Working Group NOTED that at the meeting of the Community Services Committee held on 14 July 2020 it was resolved that:
RESOLVED for the Town Clerk and Councillor Craig to liaise with MRA Associates, setting out the comments made by Committee members and requesting that the proposals be tailored down and a new proposal be put to Community Services Committee for consideration prior to public consultation taking place.
The Working Group noted and consider the new proposal that has been generated in accordance with the resolution above, and considered an additional proposal from a member of the public.
RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND TO COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMITTEE that the amended site plans, new proposals and consultation documents, with the inclusion of the reference to a MUGA on the questionnaire, be approved and that public consultation should commence. It was also resolved that the proposal put forward by the member of the public should be considered with responses to the public consultation.
Note: Councillor Boles abstained from voting on the above resolution.
Note: Councillor Craig agreed to speak with Councillor Velan, the Chairman of the Community Services Committee, to see if he would call an extraordinary Community Services Committee meeting in order to establish if an extraordinary meeting could be called to consider the matter.
