Proposals for Chairman were received for Councillors Davies & Velan.
A vote was taken as follows: –
Councillor Davies – 2 votes for
Councillor Velan – 5 votes for
RESOLVED that Councillor Velan be elected Chairman of the Community Services Committee for the remainder of 2019/20.
This then made a vacancy for Vice Chairman.
RESOLVED that Councillor Dannatt be elected Vice Chairman of the Community Services Committee for the remainder of 2019/20.

RESOLVED that the minutes of the Community Services Committee held on Wednesday 11 December 2019 be confirmed and signed as a correct record.
Note: Councillors Boles, Davies and Panter abstained from voting on the above resolution.
The Deputy Clerk advised the tree application for the lower branches of 3 existing trees to be lifted to allow space underneath had been approved by WLDC and the Grounds Maintenance team would carry out the works in the near future.
Work was still ongoing for the planning application to move the fence. Councillor Panter advised he knew someone who could produce a to scale plan for submission to WLDC.
No report from the working group was received.
Member were again unhappy at not receiving an update / report. Members asked that the working group be asked to ensure a report is present for the next meeting.
Members considered the approval of the Armed Forces and Community Day 2020 event plan and indicative budget.
RESOLVED that Members approve of the Armed Forces and Community Day 2020 event plan and indicative budget.
Note: Councillor Boles abstained from voting on the above resolution.
