Members NOTED they were supportive of the Wilson Street & Japan Road, Gainsborough – Revocation of waiting restrictions & junction protection.
- HOUSING ZONE
Members NOTED that no further update had been received.
- GAINSBOROUGH TOWN NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN (Paper D)
Members NOTED the update.
It was requested to contact the Chairman of the Working Group to see if he would be happy to hold a remote meeting once the plan had been through the external examiner in order to finalise prior to the referendum.
- CYCLING AND WALKING ROUTE SIGNAGE
RESOLVED that the Town Clerk send letters to Lincolnshire County Council and West Lindsey District Council raising concerns about the following matters: –
- Lord Street / Parnell Street signage show that there are disabled, female, and male Toilets on the Riverside Walk but these toilets have been shut down for years;
- A covering for toilet signs directing to Roseway toilets if they are closed due to Covid-19;
- Lord Street / Parnell Street signage directing to the Old Hall and Library is not in keeping and not of a historical nature;
- A request that the Council be consulted on signage for the town;
- Cycle paths be clearly marked;
- And a request that pathways be maintained up to a standard that is DDA compliant.
