MINUTES of an extraordinary Meeting of Council held in the Function Room, Marshalls Sports Ground, Middlefield Lane, Gainsborough on Wednesday 15 September 2021 at 7:00pm

1. TO RECEIVE APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
None declared.
3. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
Due to the confidential nature, members RESOLVED to exclude the press and public from the meeting during consideration of the next item in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960.
4. URGENT PERSONNEL MATTERS (Paper A)
Note: The two members of staff and Councillor O’Connor left the meeting at 7:02pm.
Note: Councillor Woolley asked Councillor Schofield to take the minutes for the remainder of the meeting.
Councillor Woolley conveyed the details of an urgent matter that had arisen at the Personnel Committee meeting on 9th September and requested the support of the Full Council in moving the matter forward.
The matter was discussed and clarifications were made and questions answered by the Personnel Committee.
Members considered paper A in detail.
RESOLVED that: –
- The content of the report is noted,
- The recommendation and financial sum per Officer from HR is approved and to be awarded,
- A pay review takes place to ensure the Officers are being paid the expected salary for their qualifications and experience. The Council should also make provision for any such future occurrence.
- the Personnel committee can deal with any future claims from staff who present evidence of undertaking new responsibilities / activities
Note: Councillor Dobbie abstained from voting on the above resolution.
