MINUTES of an extraordinary Meeting of the Finance & Strategy Committee held in the Ceremony Room, Richmond House, Richmond Park, Gainsborough on Friday 1st October 2021 at 11.00am.

1. TO RECEIVE APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
None declared.
3. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
Due to the confidential nature, members RESOLVED to exclude the press and public from the meeting during consideration of the next item in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960.
4. CHRISTMAS LIGHT SWITCH ON (Paper A)
Councillor Key explained that he had made contact with a video production company and that there were options for filming a Christmas carol concert at local Schools and the filming of the Gainsborough Christmas light switch on within paper A.
Members considered paper A in detail.
RESOLVED that: – Councillor Boles make contact with the Headteacher of Parish School and obtain contact details for all schools in Gainsborough and surrounding villages. To then contact the schools via email and ask if they wish to take part in a filmed Christmas Carol concert, it is asked that a response is made by any interested schools by Friday 8th October 2021.
