After the passing of the Mayor of Gainsborough Cllr Tim Davies in November Gainsborough lost a dedicated member of the community who truly worked hard to make a difference.
At Tuesday’s Full Council meeting the Council elected Cllr Caz Davies (wife of Cllr Tim Davies) Mayor and Chairman to carry on his legacy that he built for the remainder of the Mayoral year.
A quote from Mayor of Gainsborough Cllr Caz Davies: “I am happy to say I have been elected to the role of Mayor for the remainder of Tim’s term meaning as a family we get to finish off Tim’s legacy and finish off what he started. I hope to serve my community to the best I can but ultimately I hope we make Tim proud and finish off what he started.
I want to thank the Council for their support and allowing us as a family to achieve this goal.”
