Armed forces & Remembrance Sunday June 2018

Councillor Caz Davies gave an update of organisation of Armed Forces and Community Day.
Confirmation of 60 stalls and areas, only 3 stalls remaining.
AMP booked.
Stalls to be delivered and erected Friday evening and dismantled Saturday.
Portaloo booked.
Top area of playing field to be used for parking for stallholders and re-enactors, who will only be allowed to leave at the end of the event.
Police informed of event.
Volunteers required for collecting money from Climbing Wall, Skate Park and Zorbs. Rota to be created.
Cleaning stuff required i.e. bags, litter pickers etc. There will be a skip on site for stallholders and catering vans to dispose of rubbish during the event.
Councillor Caz Davies is to plan layout of stalls at weekend and all information is available on request.
No further meetings prior to event, however debrief to take place immediately after event. Planning for 2019 to commence asap and Councillors Caz and Tim Davies will want to be involved in next year’s event even if they are not elected.
