Proposal: Reserved matters application for Phase 1A to erect 130no. dwellings, considering appearance, landscaping, layout and scale, following outline planning permission 136937 granted 15 September 2020

Location: Land north east of Highfields roundabout Corringham Road Gainsborough

The committee resolved to make the following observations:

·      Not in keeping with NPP 3 Creating a Green Network around Gainsborough

·     Belt Road would need to be widened and equipped with dedicated footpaths and cycleways

·     committee recommends a reduced speed limit for Belt Road

·     concerned that TPO protected trees might be affected. TPOed trees should be retained.

Proposal: Planning application to remove existing pre-fabricated single garage and replace with a double pre-fabricated garage built on the existing concrete hard standing.

Application Ref No: 145141 (13/7/22, 28 days)

Proposal:  Application for advertisement consent for 7no. freestanding map monoliths and 9no. fingerpost signs.

Location: Gainsborough Town Centre, Gainsborough

The committee resolved to make the following observations:

·   The applicant should ensure the proposed map monoliths are accessible to both visually impaired users and wheelchair users.

·   Any signposts should be regularly checked for correctness.

To consider proposal to introduce No Waiting at Any Time and Limited Waiting on specified areas of Melrose Road.

PL23/062 Gate Burton Energy Park
To consider second stage of consultation on Low Carbon’s proposals for Gate Burton Energy Park – the new solar and energy storage park we are proposing to build on land near Gate Burton, Lincolnshire.
Consultation is open from 22 June to 5 August 2022
