3. MINUTES FROM THE PREVIOUS MEETING (Paper A)

Minutes of the meeting of Planning and Development Committee held on Tuesday 27 October 2020

RESOLVED that the minutes of the Planning and Development Committee meeting held on Tuesday 27 October 2020 be confirmed and signed as a correct record.

Note: Councillor Dobbie abstained from voting on the above resolution.

4. PLANNING APPLICATIONS

i. Application Ref No: 141848

Proposal: Planning application for balcony to west elevation
Location: Summer House 3 Summer Hill Gainsborough

RESOLVED that Committee had no objections to the application.

ii. Application Ref No: 141837

Proposal: Planning application to extend existing garage
Location: 4 Bettys Lane Gainsborough

RESOLVED that Committee had no objections to the application.

iii. Application Ref No: 141770

Proposal: Planning application to erect proposed gym, office and workshop
Location: Land at 71 Morton Terrace, Gainsborough

RESOLVED that Committee had no objections to the application.

iv. Application Ref No: 141089

Proposal: Planning application for two storey side extension and single storey rear extension.

Location: 25 Nelson Street Gainsborough

RESOLVED that Committee had no objections to the application.

v. Application Ref No: 141895

Proposal: Outline Planning for 12no residential units – all matters reserved
Location: Land North of Acland Street, Gainsborough

RESOLVED that Committee objected to the outline planning application with the following concerns:

The lack of adequate parking provision and the concerns that raised around child safety with a school being nearby. Committee asked that a School Safety Zone or Residential Parking Zone be considered.
The proposed development is not within the footprint of the current building and would extend within the green space at the rear of the property.
There will be a detrimental impact to neighbouring properties because of the height of the proposed development and the loss of sunlight from the erection of a wall.
vi. Application Ref No: 141880

Proposal: Planning application for redecoration and repair of existing shop front, internal alterations and refurbishment of ground floor, and installation of air conditioner heat exchangers within rear yard

Location: Burton & Dyson Solicitors, 22 Market Place, Gainsborough

RESOLVED that Committee had no objections to the application.

vii. Application Ref No: 141881

Proposal: Listed building consent for redecoration and repair of existing shop front, internal alterations and refurbishment of ground floor, and installation of air conditioner heat exchangers within rear yard.

RESOLVED that Committee had no objections to the application.

Proposal: Planning application to erect a commercial office building for single business use

Location: Land off Wharton Close Gainsborough

RESOLVED that Committee would not comment on at this stage because of conflicting or insufficient information on the application relating to boundaries, trees, and hedges. Members requested clarification and further information about the boundaries, hedge lines and trees.

ix. Application Ref No: 141977

Proposal: County Matters application PL/0095/20 for regularisation of a 3rd leachate storage tank, relocation of an associated compressor container; restoration soils storage area including a plant compound.

Location: Gainsborough Landfill Site, Lea Road, Gainsborough

RESOLVED that Committee had no objections to the application.
