- To approve (or otherwise) the Minutes of the Annual Town Meeting held on Thursday 18th April 2024.
- To receive a report by the 2024-2025 Town Mayor, Councillor Kenneth Woolley, on the Town Council’s work and their mayoral year.
- To answer questions or consider any matters relating to the Gainsborough Town Council’s Annual Report.
- Presentations by organisations and individuals, providing an overview of the work they are doing in Gainsborough:
- West Lindsey District Council – Levelling Up – Thriving Gainsborough
- Gainsborough Night Light Café
- St John Ambulance Service
- North Notts & Lincolnshire Rail Partnership
- An opportunity for residents to ask questions, make comments or raise concerns regarding the Town.

Minutes of the Annual Town Meeting held on Thursday 8 May 2025 at 6:00pm in the function room, Marshalls Sports Ground, Middlefield Lane, Gainsborough, DN21 IUU.

AP25/001 Welcome by the Town Mayor
The Town Mayor James Plastow welcomed those present.
AP25/002 Minutes of the 2023 Annual Town Meeting
RESOLVED: that the minutes of the Annual Town meeting held on Thursday 8 May 2024 be approved as a as a true and accurate record and signed by the Chairman.
AP25/003 Matters arising from the Minutes
There were none.
AP25/004 2024-25 Town Mayor’s Report – Councillor Kenneth Woolley
The Town Mayor for the 2024-25 municipal year Councillor Kenneth Woolley reported on his time in office. Councillor Woolley spoke on the passing of the previous Mayor Councillor Tim Davies and his contribution to the community, Remembrance Sunday and Town Council managed facilities.
AP25/005 WLDC – Levelling Up – Thriving Gainsborough
A presentation on the different projects in Gainsborough including the cinema and retail/restaurant units, refurbishments of shop fronts in the marketplace, bus station refurbishment, Whitton Gardens and the Baltic Mill site.

AP25/006 Night Life Café
A presentation on what a Night Light Café is, the people they support, what they do at the Gainsborough Night Light Café, how to find them and get involved, and the impact it has on attendees.
AP25/007 St John Ambulance
A talk about St John Ambulance plans to start a cadet unit in Gainsborough, the experiences of being a cadet, and volunteering opportunities for people looking to get involved.
AP25/008 North Notts & Lincs Community Rail Partnership
A presentation on NNLCRP’s projects including working with local businesses within the transport network, local health and social care teams, direct engagement with educational institutes and community gardens in and around stations.
