This is advanced notice of works set to take place in Gainsborough by Lincolnshire County Council Highways. It includes the addition of new safety barriers and chicane on the public footpath outside the Gainsborough General Cemetery.
For these works to take place, there will be a temporary closure of the public footpath, for approximately 2 hours, while the works are underway on Sunday 10th September 2023.
These essential works will help to improve safety at this crossing between pedestrians, cyclists and cars alike as they go in and out of the cemetery.
