SUMMARY:Remembrance Sunday
DESCRIPTION:Town Mayor\, Patrick O’Connor\, will be joining fellow councillors and Gainsborough representatives from military forces\, veterans\, their families\, and local societies at this year’s Remembrance Sunday Morning Service starting at 10:00am on Sunday 13th November 2022 at All Saints Parish Church. \nOnce the Morning Service is complete the Royal British Legion and Clergy will be leading the procession to the local War Memorial\, followed by the congregation and Civic dignitaries. This is where the Two Minute Silence will be observed at 11 o’clock\, the Last Post and Reveille will be played\, and wreaths will be laid. Any individual or organisation will have the opportunity to lay their own wreath or remembrance symbol.

SUMMARY:Remembrance Sunday Timetable - November 13th
DESCRIPTION:Please find the Remembrance Sunday timetable\, highlighting the key phases of the commemorations taking place on Sunday November 13th 2022. \n\n9:00 – Road closures start on Gladstone Street\, Parnell Street and Fawcett Street.\n10:00 – The service at All Saints’ Church will begin\, the Mayor\, Councillors and other organisations will be attending.\n10:45 – Those who attended the church will then go to the Gainsborough War Memorial.\n11:00 – The Two Minutes Silence will be observed\nApproximately 11:30 – Road closures end.\n\nA bugler will be present to play ‘The Last Post’ and ‘Reveille’ at the War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday. Together we will all gather to remember – anyone is welcome to come and attend the Remembrance Service and following acts of commemoration and will have the opportunity to lay their own wreath or Remembrance symbol if they wish to do so.

O’Connor undertakes a full review of both documents and presents findings for adoption at a later stage. \n  \n \nDC to carry out formatting changes. \nTC to include on future agenda and draft ToR for Working Group. \n Cllr O’Connor to lead group to fully review both Standing Orders and Financial Regulations. \n \n \n\n\nFS23/024\nTo consider adding a staff zone to the council’s website that will give staff access to H&S and personnel documents when on site and authorise the necessary expenditure.\nPaper K\nThe Committee resolved to approve expenditure to add a staff zone to the council’s website that will give staff access to H&S and personnel documents.\nTC to progress with DrumBeat to establish staff zone on the website.\n \n\n\nFS23/025\nTo note the results of the councillor devices survey\, consider a rough quote for councillor devices and instruct whether to go ahead or not.\nPaper L\nMembers considered the substantial cost implications of this initial estimate and found that on balance the cost exceeded the benefits. \nThe Committee resolved to obtain a comparative quote from an alternative company.
